When Dorothy Kamm came to work for Yates & Associates shortly after Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne whipped through the Treasure Coast, she was confronted with a month’s worth of stacked newspapers that had to be scanned and articles clipped for media equivalencies of two of the company’s clients – the American Red Cross Martin County Chapter and Treasure Coast Square mall.  “Reading, clipping and entering media equivalencies kept me busy for weeks,” said Dorothy, then an Account Executive.  As an award-winning writer and author of four books, Dorothy assisted Yates & Associates’ clients with the launch of their books and the writing and publication of numerous articles targeted to specific trade markets. 

            Since that time, with Dorothy’s assistance, Yates & Associates has expanded to three offices, with locations in Miami and Orlando, while its clientele has grown to include 80 percent of Simon-owned malls in Florida, as well as professional services, high-technology companies, and business associations.  Dorothy’s responsibilities have grown, as well.  As Regional Vice President, Dorothy coordinates projects and media among the three offices, while managing accounts.  She also co-hosts “Public Relations Power Hour”, a weekly program (Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.) on WSTU 1490 AM that focuses on marketing solutions for businesses, and non-profits.
